Worship Experience
We know walking through the doors of a new church for the first time is enough to send most people over the edge. Don’t worry. We’ve been there and we know that taking that first step is a big deal and can feel a little awkward or overwhelming. We believe that God really cares about people so we try to go out of our way to do that too and to make sure that your first experience is the absolute best it can be.

JESUS.
We believe that if something is real it is contagious. Jesus is not only real, He is contagious! He is why we gather and Who worship. He has far more for us than we ever imagined and His love is deeper than anything on earth. He not only promises eternal life but to do life with us, here and now. Truth is, Jesus is what you have been missing. We have found Him and would love to introduce you to Him.

We honor your time so we start on time. Our Sunday Services run approximately 90 minutes.
COME AS YOU ARE.
Bring your past and present with all your issues. Bring your intellect as well as your heart. Just come! You don't have to dress up, just dress casual and comfortable.

Because the best Gospel deserves the best presentation, everything we do we pursue excellence. Details matter to us because they matter to God. We love what John W. Gardner said "Excellence is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well".
Kids
AVL City Kids is our family ministry with a goal of engaging kids and empowering families. Providing age-appropriate worship, Bible stories, and activities during our weekend worship experiences.
We use skilled volunteers, technology, fun activities and excellent environments to communicate the timeless knowledge of our loving Father.
Our message is the message of Faith, Hope and Love. We deliver and ignite highly thought-provoking conversations. Loaded with truth, wrapped in love and delivered boldly to inspire humnaity to discover their Maker and what they were made for.
When we realize the One who made us, infused us with destiny, we will be empowered to impact the world around us.
Music
The band is a collection of artists coming together to create the sound of AVL City Church. We express our worship with passion, heart and soul, high-energy and creatively. We include classic hymns, current tunes and those that have been written from AVL City Church.
We are apt to build a community of musicians, artists and songwriters alike to discover and pursue the heart of God.
